How to install Touchpix on Windows
Touchpix for Windows has an integrated installer, like many other programs for Windows. To install it, simply:
Download Touchpix for Windows from our official website
Once downloaded, execute the
.exefileWindows Defender might pop up an alert. Click on more information and then "execute". This is only for the installation file, the final app won't receive this notification.
Follow the steps indicated in the installer
Within a few moments, Touchpix will be installed in your Windows system and ready to use.
Connecting a camera
Touchpix for Windows has a camera controller integrated—no external apps, no unnecessary adapters, no specific configurations. To connect your camera, simply get a data transfer USB cable matching your camera connector (Mini B, Micro B, USB-C or Micro-USB in most cases). The better quality your cable, the more stable and faster this connection is.
Most of the modern computers integrate a USB 3.0 and/or USB 3.2 (usually USB-A or USB-C); combined with a quality data transfer cable, your DSLR connection will be completely stable.
Open Touchpix app in your Windows system and load an event
Open the settings menu, and click on "camera"
Select "DSLR"
Connect your DSLR camera to your computer using the mentioned cable
Tap on connect camera
Turn your camera to photo mode, usually on Manual (M)
As simple as that, you are ready to use your camera in your Windows system. Similar steps can be followed to connect a compatible webcam to be used as the main camera.
