Why duplicating and how
On custom event creation, quite some time may be consumed. Taking into account that app branding can be added in different section, the option to duplicate previous events can save time and easily reproduce previous event settings.
The path to duplicate an event is very simple:
Log in to Touchpix.
Go to your 'events'.
Find the event name listed you want to duplicate.
Click on 'Manage event' (gear button).
Click on 'Duplicate Event' (two sheet button).
Set a name to the duplicated event.
Click on 'Save'.
Event's configuration screen will show up, use the QR code in the top right corner to activate this new event.
Keynotes
Duplicated events are considered a different event, so they have their own QR code and gallery.
Duplicating events will duplicate all settings and configurations, excluding AI files.
Even though this is a safe option, major updates may interact with the event manager. Keep in mind to create a new event from scratch instead of duplicating after big updates if facing issues with it.
