Touchpix offers a wide range of effects and filter to apply on your photos and videos to make outstanding results. Take your images to the next level with this customization, and create stunning effects that can adjust to thematics.
Photo Effects
Adding photo effects in Touchpix is very simple, since most of them are already configured. To add your effects, these steps below show you how:
Open your Touchpix app or event manager
In the settings list, find "Photo Effects"
(Optional) Enable "Use Photo Effects in GIF (photo) Outputs" if you want to add this effects to GIF photo sessions
Click on "Photo Effects and Background Removal"
Select your effects and configure them, choose between the default backgrounds, or add your custom ones.
Select Photo Effects in Session
Let the guests choose their own photo effects after taking a photo session.
Open your event settings
Click on "photo effects"
Enable "select photo effects in session"
Effects
For photo functions, you can add within filters, background removal, and AI filters with Photo AI.
Choose and mix the different effects to create a great-looking image.
Remove the background and choose between the different preset backgrounds, or add up to 10 custom backgrounds.
Use the additional Photo AI effects, basic or pro, to easily reimagine a picture into a photo that would be impossible to create without AI.

Background
The background removal effect has some features that allow you to customize the background selection:
Random Background (each photo): When enabling this option, a random background between the available will apply to each different photo.
Random Background (same for all): When enabling this option, a random background between the available will apply to every photo session, being the same for all.
Transparent Background: The background is replaced with a transparency, no image.
Select Background in Session: By enabling this option, the users will be able to select a background between the chosen ones. After a session is taken, there will be a selection screen, where users will choose the background they want.
Select One Background Session for All Photos: This setting chooses the same background for all photos, but instead of a random one, the background selected.
Define Strip Background: Define what backgrounds show on all the pictures from the strip.
Only Show Custom Backgrounds: This option shows in the app only the custom backgrounds added, no default backgrounds.
Remove Background in the server: This uses the server for background removal, improving the quality. This is only for Android, and requires internet.
Photo AI
AI image composition is a creative technology that uses artificial intelligence to combine different visual elements — such as people, backgrounds, lighting, and effects — into a single, seamless image.
In simple terms, it means that the AI can automatically edit and enhance photos in ways that used to take a professional designer hours to do.

Video Effects
The video effect list on Touchpix is very extended, which is able to cover and create millions of different combinations. From effects to filters passing through animated overlays, combine them into a stunning result at a high-level video booth quality.
Open your Touchpix app or event manager
In the settings menu, locate "Video Effects - Audio"
Choose the session in which you wish to add the video effect: 'Video', 'Boomerang', 'Slomo' or 'GIF'
Tap on the first 'Add effect' button available. A list with the available effects will show up
Slide through the list until reaching the desired effect. Select as many as you like to add (6 maximum)
Press the 'Confirm' button. The effects are now placed in the timeline
To edit or configure an effect, tap on it in the 6-slot list, and modify the different parameters each one has. Click on 'delete' to remove it if wanted.
Combine them and make your videos stand out from the competition!
In this section, you can also preview the selected effects using your last video, or you can just tap 'Preview Effects' button.
