What are analytics?
Touchpix records analytics data from your event, including basic information such as how many sessions were run, how many times each session was shared, and which sharing methods were used, categorized for each device where these sessions occurred. Additionally, you can export the email addresses, SMS, and WhatsApp numbers used during the shares as a .CSV file (refer to step 5 below).
How does it work?
Each device used at the event stores its own sharing data, so to obtain accurate statistics, you should upload data from all your devices if desired. The statistics are automatically uploaded when you close your event or exit your sharing station by clicking on the hamburger icon in the upper-left corner and selecting 'close event' or 'exit sharing station.' You can also manually upload the data during the event by following these steps:
Open your Touchpix app.
Tap the button in the upper-left corner and select 'Settings.'
Navigate to the 'Analytics' section and scroll down.
Tap 'Upload Analytics' to upload your data to Touchpix.com.
Reading and understanding the analytics
On the event manager, we can find a few tabs that will summarize the information collected by our devices. To access this data, we will simply:
Open the event manager
Find the event we want to check
Click on data
Alternatively, inside the event settings, we will find "analytics" category in the settings list
This information is divided into the following:
Sessions
Here, we will have a summary of, essentially, the sessions. These statistics are useful for you in order to understand the preferences of the end user with the next data:
Total sessions recorded
Most used session
Most used device
All sessions: A graph showing the amount of each session
All devices: A count of sessions taken per device
Demand timeline: Graphs showing the date and time these sessions were taken
All of this information is useful to see what each user perfers, and in the case of having multiple booths, which one was the most used and when.
This page can be exported to PDF with the button at the bottom of this tab.
Shares
This screen will summarize the sharings that occurred during the event. We will be able to track:
Total shares
Most used method
Percentage of shared sessions out of the total sessions taken
Most shared item
Copies printed
Graph with all sharing methods used and percentage
Shared items: Here you can see what file was shared to which sharing method, including session time, timestamp, times shared and copies printed
This data can be exported to CSV and PDF files with the buttons below.
Web gallery
Similarly to the previous ones, this tab displays the total files shared through the web gallery, also divided into emailed and downloaded.
Keynotes
Data must be uploaded before the event is fully closed, either manually or uploading during the closing screen.
If more than one device was used at the event, it is needed to upload the analytics from all the different devices.
Internet access is required to upload the analytics from the device.
