(Optional, wired connection) RJ-45 to USB-c or lighting adaptor (depending on your main device)
How to connect it to Touchpix
Connect the printer to the print box using the printer’s USB cable.
A power adaptor is supplied with the print box. Use it to power up the print box.

Navigate to the ‘Printing’ section and, there, select ‘Printpix’.
Choose 'Auto', and the IP will be filled automatically since your device is already connected to the Printpix network
Select your printer by clicking on the ‘Available Printers’ menu
Add margins if you desire.
Start some photo sessions and, enjoy almost instant printings!
Note: Printpix is a print box that works with the Touchpix app, it will not work for other apps.
Printpix wired connection
Not only wireless, but Printpix also allows wired connection to the main device. By using an Ethernet cable from the box to a proper 'Ethernet to USB-C or lighting adaptor', the devices will be connected with a more stable and reliable connection, which would improve stability on crowded networks.
How to print more copies
Once you’ve finished a session, and you’re still on the sharing screen, you can click the printer icon to print more copies.
If a customer asks you for more copies later on… do not worry! Visit your gallery, select the photo you want to print, then tap the print button. You’ll be asked how many copies you want, tap ‘Print’ and they’ll be printed.
Compatibility
Printpix is widely compatible, the printer box supports a wide variety of printer brands. Check the full compatibility list below:
Printpix – Server
Printpix is a physical server that creates a Wi-Fi network to operate. This network does not have an internet connection, so while you are connected to Printpix, your device will not have access to the internet. Due to this, media upload will not happen and, consequently, neither will WhatsApp, SMS nor email sharings.
Printpix builds a server from which you can manage its settings. Reach the configuration page by connecting to the box through the Touchpix app and tapping on ‘Printpix Management’. There you’ll find some settings that will help you manage the queue, restart Printpix or connecting it to the internet. Let's focus on the last one.
Bridging the connection
In this management screen, you can find nearby available networks. To do this, it is necessary to connect the antenna (included in the package) to Printpix box.
The accessible Wi-Fi access points (2G and 5G) are listed automatically. Tap on the desired access point to set the password and country, then select ‘Connect’. The Printpix box will have an internet connection from there forward.
Additionally, in case you connect an Ethernet cable to the box and plug a device into it with an adaptor, the internet will be shared with the connected device.
Keynotes and troubleshooting
Make sure that the SD card is correctly inserted, not too extracted, not too far pushed in.
If the network is not showing in your Wi-Fi settings, or only a red light shows, disconnect the box for a couple of minutes and try again.
Once connected to the device and app, Touchpix settings will show the IP with a green dot next to it and your printer listed and selected
Once the box is powered, a green light should appear, showing that the network is being transmitted. If not, redirect to "Printpix reprogramming", below.
Printpix reprogramming
In the case previous troubleshooting didn't work, and your Printpix box does not show any green light and your tp-printserver network doesn't show, your Printpix box requires a reprogramming.
