Master Schedule and Touchplan Alignment Overview

Use the Master Schedule Alignment Tool to monitor your Master Schedule end dates in comparison to your Touchplan tickets. As Touchplan saves you time in the field, this feature will allow your team to quickly reconcile your Touchplan Ticket dates vs. your External Master Schedule dates and maintain alignment between the two systems.

Before following the steps below, ensure you have entered your 'External Schedule ID's' onto any Touchplan tickets you wish to compare with your Master Schedule.

Step 1: Create an external Master Schedule template in P6 or Microsoft Project

Step 2: Export your Touchplan Tickets

Step 3: Import your Touchplan Tickets back into P6 or Microsoft Project

After downloading your updated template, use the Touchplan v. Master Schedule tile on your Project Dashboard, to visually compare your planned dates.

*Note: Always use the most up-to-date Master Schedule Template when downloading Touchplan tickets.
