How to use Snapshots:

  1. Click into Snapshots on the left-hand side.

  2. Click Save Current Plan.

  3. Name the plan and click save when done.

How to Restore a Snapshot:

Option 1: Restore a saved Snapshot later

  1. Click into Snapshots on the left-hand side.

  2. Click on the saved plan and select Restore to revert a plan to the previously saved state.

Option 2: Restore a System Snapshot after a Promise Period or Active Line is moved.

  1. Click into Snapshots on the left-hand side.

  2. Click Show System Snapshots to view a list

  3. Select a plan to restore to "Prior To..." Active Line move or Promise Period activated.

Use Snapshots in three different ways.

  1. The "What-If" scenario: If the team is trying a new planning scenario the Admin user can save a current plan as a Snapshot before altering the plan. If the team isn't happy with the new planning idea, then you can restore the plan view back to what it was previously.

  2. After moving the Promise Period: If work is promised in, or if extra work is accidentally promised, snapshots will allow the team to quickly restore the plan before the promise period was moved

  3. After moving the Active Line: If the Active Line was dragged or extended to a new date then the Admin users can use Snapshots to revert this change back.

Note: Restoring a plan will restore the plan for everyone and overwrite any work that has been done since the Snapshot was saved. Only Admin users can restore plans.
