Q: We are playing a tournament where the best two balls are counted for each team. Rather than entering hole-by-hole scores for every player, we would like to just enter one team score for each hole. Is this possible?
A: If you are playing the following team-based tournament where every player is playing their own ball, you can enter a team total hole-by-hole scores rather than the player hole-by-hole scores.
To do this, go to the tournament setup and select "Enter One Team Score" (as shown below), after selecting one of the formats and ball sections described above.
This option will be available for the following format, competition and ball selection:
Stroke:
Competitions:
Team (pair) v. Field/Flight
Team (foursome) v. Field/Flight
Pair v. Field/Flight
Foursome v. Field/Flight
Balls:
Best ball on each hole
Both balls on each hole
Average of both balls
Stableford:
Competitions:
Team (pair) v Field/Flight
Team (foursome) v Field/Flight
Pair v Field/Flight
Foursome v Field/Flight
Balls:
Best ball on each hole
Match Play:
Competitions:
Team v Team (1&2 v 3&4)
Pair v. Pair (1&2 v 3&4)
Balls
Best ball on each hole
Both balls on each hole
(Note: This type of score entry is not supported when playing Best Team Scores)
If playing a gross tournament, enter the total gross team score for every hole. If playing a net tournament, enter the total net team score for every hole.
When entering scores (Rounds > Enter Scores), each team will be listed in a single row.
You can also enter one team score on the mobile app.
See the example leaderboard below of a best 2 balls of 4 tournament where one team score was entered.
