My Golf Hub - Banners

Updated over 4 months ago

This feature is available for the following products:

Banners help the look and feel of your Hub by providing a special touch with some additional character and color. Each Banner template can comprise one or many banners that "scroll" while a golfer is visiting the page. Each Banner Template can be used for your Golf Hub or Golf Hub Pages.

Banner Upload:

A generic default banner will already be added to your account. To upload a new banner that represents your facility, follow these instructions:

  1. Go to Customer Center > Directories & Registration > My Golf Hub Setup > Banner.

  2. Click "New Banner," and you will be presented with the banner template creator page.

  3. Define the following:

    1. Name: Provide the name used for the template. For example, if this banner is for a specific event, give it the event name.

    2. Default: This option marks the banner as the default. When checked as the default, it will be the default banner for all new events and league Golf Hub Pages.

  4. Click the button for "Add Banner."

  5. Click "Choose File" in the popup and navigate to the banner you wish to upload.

  6. Click on the file and press open.

  7. When a banner photo is added, you will be presented with a gray bounding box (as shown below. The area in white will be displayed, and any content in the gray area will not be displayed. You may drag and zoom it in and out using your mouse to best place the image within the bounding box.

  8. Click "Save" and repeat sets 4-8 to add multiple banners to one template. Note: If multiple banners are loaded to the same template, the template will scroll through each banner while a golfer is on the page.

  9. Sort the uploaded banner (if necessary).

  10. To complete the banner template creation process, click "Save."

Below you will see uploading two banners to the same template.

Updating Banners Templates:

Two actions can be taken on banner templates:

  • Edit: This allows you to update the template's name, check it as the default banner template, add new banner images, or remove existing banners. Note: All updates to the banner template will propagate to all published pages and Hubs that use the template.

  • Delete: This allows you to delete the template. Note: The default template and any used templates cannot be deleted.

Banner File Specifications:

When creating the banner, the file types must be either: jpg, jpeg, gif (static image), or png. For the banner to be displayed perfectly aligned when uploading, ensure the image size is 1160 pixels wide with a height of 240 pixels. Keep in mind larger images may be uploaded but will be scaled and clipped to meet these width and height requirements.
