Uploading the Spreadsheet to an Event in Golf Genius:

To upload the exported ForeTees roster into an event in Golf Genius, follow these instructions:

  1. Open the spreadsheet. Go to File > Save As and save the file in .xls format (it is originally in .csv format).

  2. The roster spreadsheet can be uploaded as a player roster for a league or event, or as a round roster for a league. For instructions on uploading the spreadsheet as a player roster for an event or league, Click Here.

Oftentimes, every round in a league is a separate event in ForeTees, and golfers register for each round separately in ForeTees. In this case, after you have a player roster, you can go to Rounds > Round Player Roster > Upload Confirmed Players. After entering the name of the spreadsheet file, you will be asked to specify a field in the spreadsheet and a field in the player roster to match players. Select "ftid" for both (ForeTees ID).
