Lightspeed Event Roster Sync

Updated over 4 months ago

This feature is only available with the following products:

Some of our customers use Lightspeed for the event roster. If this is the case, we suggest using our Event Roster Sync feature. Rosters from Special Events in Lightspeed can be imported and synced to events created in our system. To enable this integration feature, contact our support team.

In this article, we will discuss how to set up this integration and sync events.

Syncing an Event Roster:

Note: To sync a roster from Lightspeed, Lightspeed Online Bookings must be enabled, and the event must be within 14 days.

To sync events, go to the event in our system, then Golfers > Import Roster from Lightspeed. (Note: If you do not have any registrants for the event yet, you can still sync the roster ahead of time).

Select the event date in Lightspeed that you'd like to sync with this event.

If there is only one event in that date, then we will immediately import/sync. If multiple events are created on that date, then we ask you to select which event to use and then import/sync.

The event will sync daily after the initial import/sync (at midnight). The sync includes:

  • Addition of new registrants

  • Removal of canceled registrants

  • Updating of current registrants if their information changed (e.g., dinner selection, email).

You can manually force a sync by going to Golfers > Import Roster from Lightspeed.

Under the Golfers Menu, you will also see when registration is set to open, when registration is set to close, and when the last import/sync was made. You can also turn the daily sync off.

To get an overall summary of the events being synced, go to Customer Center > Customer Settings > Integrations > General Integration.

All events currently being synced will be listed along with the last time they were synced. You can also turn off the daily sync here and remove the link between the events.

To see the syncing activity for a specific event, go to the Activity Log for that event.
