Golfmanager Round Roster Sync

If you use Golfmanager to collect event/league registration, you can import event/league rosters from Golfmanager into a round within a league or event in our system.

In this article, we will discuss how to set up and use this integration.

Note: This feature should not be confused with Event Roster Sync. The Event Roster Sync imports registrants into the event/league roster in our system. The Round Roster Sync (discussed in this article) imports registrants into a round roster within an event or league. This would be more typically used for leagues using multiple rounds. Each round within that league would be synced with an event in Golfmanager. Click Here for more details on the relationship between a round roster and event/league roster in our system.

Importing and Syncing Round Roster:

To import/sync an event roster from Golfmanager to a round within a league or event in our system, follow these instructions:

  1. Contact our support team to enable the integration (if it has not yet been enabled).

  2. Set up the integration (if it has not been set up yet).

  3. Go to the event or league where you'd like to import/sync.

  4. Go to Calendar > Connect Rounds to Golfmanager.

  5. The rounds within the event/league will be listed (as shown below). On the right, link each round with the appropriate Golfmanager event. If there is no event in Golfmanager on the date of the round, there will be nothing to select.

  6. Click "Save" after the desired rounds are linked.

  7. Go to Rounds (for the round you'd like to import/sync) > Round Player Roster > Import from Golfmanager.

  8. Select to either:

    1. Mark all players in this round as not playing. then mark all players from Golfmanager as attending: This option will first mark players currently on the round roster (if any) as "Not Attending" then import the full roster from Golfmanager. This is the suggested option if you are updating a roster that was previously imported because some players may have cancelled.

    2. Add players from Golfmanager to any players already confirmed: This option will keep any players currently on the round roster (if any) as "Confirmed" and also import any addition players from the Golfmanager roster.

When importing:

  • All new players and their information will be imported.

  • If the new players are not found in the event/league roster, they will be added there as well.

  • If there is any updated information for players currently on the roster, it will be updated.

To see the importing activity for a specific event/league, go to the Activity Log for that event/league.
