Golf Australia uses the World Handicap System method for computing Playing Handicaps. However, there is an additional step for Stroke Play and Stableford tournaments: After the unrounded Course Handicap (derived from the standard World Handicap System calculation method) is computed, it is multiplied by a factor of .93.
To accommodate this calculation, when setting up a Stroke Play or Stableford tournament, the handicap adjustment value will be 93% by default (as shown below).

When setting up other tournament formats (e.g., Match Play), the handicap adjustment value will be 100% by default (as shown below).

For Alternate Shot (Foursome) and Scramble Stroke Play tournaments, there are many different ways to compute team handicaps (e.g., Chapman/Scotch 60/40, 50% of sum, 35%/15%, 20%/15%/10%/5%). When computing these team handicaps, the application of the .93 factor will automatically be applied when computing the Course Handicap for every individual.
In the example below, Jake and Evan are playing in an Alternate shot (Foursomes) tournament where 60% of the A player's handicap is used and 40% of the B player's handicap is used. As you can see, the factor of .93 is applied when computing the individual handicaps.
