iFrames are a great way to display a portal page on another website like your club website. You can embed most pages from your portal into your website.

In this article we will discuss how to embed a portal page and additional options when sharing a tournament results page and customized tournament results page.

Sharing a Portal Page Using iFrame:

To display a portal page on another website, follow these directions:

  1. Go to your Portal (Apps > Member Portal Address)

  2. Go to the page that you'd like to embed into your website.

  3. Click on "Share". If there is no "Share" button next to it, that means we do not support sharing that page (eg Text Pages and Collage Pages).

  4. Select the size of the iFrame that you'd like to populate. Once you find out what size fits your website the best, you can select one of the options. The last option lets you customize the size to whatever you'd like.

Additional Options when Sharing a Results Page:

The results page is a popular one to embed in other websites. For instance, we have many professional competitive tours that have their own website. These tours like to embed live and finished leaderboards onto their website. This can easily be done using iFrames. If you are embedding a results page, you will have additional options to select (as shown below).

The additional share options are:

  • Tournament Day View:

    • As on member portal: If you'd like the leaderboard to show exactly as it shows on the portal (with the TV display button and Round Selector), select "As on member portal".

    • Most current in progress round: Perhaps you have a page on your league website that is fully dedicated to live scoring. So, you'd like to always show the most current in-progress leaderboard, right? If so, select "Most current in progress round".

    • Specific Round: Or maybe you have a separate results page for just one round. If this is the case, you can select that round in the dropdown and we will display that round leaderboard ONLY.

  • Show / Hide TV Display Button

  • Exclude / Include Banner

  • Show / Hide Header

With all these options, you can further customize your iFrame to seamlessly fit into your website.

Additional Options when Sharing a Results Page:

Another popular one to embed in other websites is the customized tournament results page. If you are embedding a customized results page, you will have additional options to select (as shown below).

The additional share options are:

  • Enable / Disable detailed Player Profile

    • This will show / hide the “View More” button

  • Show / Hide the “Print” button

  • Show / Hide the “Powered by GolfGenius” text

  • Show / Hide the Tournament box

    • This option will be disabled if 2 or more tournaments are included in the widget.

With all these options, you can further customize your iFrame to seamlessly fit into your website.
