How can I print the players markers on the scorecard? (JGA Only)

Updated over 4 months ago

Note: This feature is only available to JGA Customers.

Q: We predetermine what golfer is the marker for another golfer in their group. Can we print markers on the scorecards?

A: If you have set rules for markers, they can be printed on the scorecards. As an example, in every group Player A marks for Player B, Player B marks for Player D, and so on, you can add the markers to scorecards.

Note: This option is only available for Twosome, Threesome, or Foursome pairing sizes.

To set the rules for markers, follow these directions:

  1. Go to Event/League > Event/League Profile > Rounds & Scheduling.

  2. In the section Pairing Size, specify the number of golfers per pairing group. Note: The pairing size selection will impact the scorecard marker selection and must be defined first.

  3. Specify the markers to be printed on the scorecard in the "Scorecard Markers" section (as shown below). The section will be slightly different depending on the pairing size.

  4. Click "Save," and the marker rules will be established for each group.

After setting up a markers rule, the Golfer Marker field will be available for display on the scorecards. To display the markers on the scorecard, follow these directions:

  1. Go to Round > Print Scorecard.

  2. Edit the scorecard you want to use.

  3. Go to the Header & Footer tab.

  4. Click Add Text or Field.

  5. Utilize the "PX Golfer Marker" field to create the text you want added (as shown below - this example is for two person scorecards).

  6. Click "Apply Text Changes," and the field will be added to the scorecard (as shown below).
