Q: We have custom scorecard paper in the size of 4.25" x 11". How can I print a single scorecard on this page size?
A: To print scorecards on a custom page, follow these steps:
Go to Round > Print Scorecards > Edit the scorecard you would like to print.
Go to the Format Tab and select the proper paper size.
Customize the scorecard to meet your needs (if necessary) and click "Save & Print." For more details about printing scorecards, Click Here.
Download and open the PDF from Golf Genius.
Print the PDF.
Note: Since you are printing on a custom page size in Golf Genius, you will also want to make sure that the same custom paper size is available on your computer. Complete details on adding a custom page size to your computer will be discussed later in this article.
Add Custom Paper Size to a PC:
To define a new page size on a PC, follow these steps:
Click the Start button.
Search and open the Control Panel.
Select the option to view devices and printers.
Click your printer in the list, then click Print server properties.
In the dialog box that appears, check the box for Create a new form.
Give the new page size a unique and descriptive Form name, such as ’Scorecard 4x11’.
Select Metric or English units as required.
Define the page size.
Click "Save Form" and then click "OK."
The new sizes should now appear in the page size selector in the Printing Preferences. If it does not appear, you may need to close the program and re-open it. For a short video on how to do this, Click Here.
Add Custom Paper Size to a Mac:
To define a new page size on a Mac, you must be in a program that allows you to define a page size (e.g., Office, Pages, Safari, etc.). Once in a program, follow these instructions:
Choose File > Page Setup (from the File menu at the top of the screen).
Click the Paper Size pop-up menu, then choose Manage Custom Sizes.
Click
to add your custom size.
Click Untitled in the list above (it’s added when you click
), then type a name for your custom size.
Type the width and height of the paper in the Width and Height fields.
Make print margin settings, then click OK.
Click OK to close the Page Setup window.
