During tournaments it may be important to highlight guidelines to your players while on the club property. One way to do this is by including those guidelines directly on their printed scorecards.

In this article, we will discuss how you can create printed scorecards that include social distancing guidelines.

Creating Scorecards with Guidelines:

The instructions below will show you how to create this type of scorecard using the Scorecard Composer. For more details on using the Scorecard Composer, Click Here.

  1. Go to Rounds > Report Center > New Document > New Scorecard.

  2. Name your scorecard and place it in the appropriate category.

  3. Click “Save”

  4. If the scorecards are to be used for the event you are in, you can select the pairing groups to print for in the "Pairing Groups" tab. If you would like to instead produce a blank scorecard that can be used by your players for daily play, then unselect all pairing groups and select "Also print 1 scorecards with no names..." (as shown below)

  5. Click the “Format” tab and select “One Scorecard Per Page” (as shown below)

On this tab, you can also change the paper size, but generally speaking you will want to use a paper size that will accommodate enough space for the scorecard and guidelines. We suggest using "US-Letter Landscape" so that there is one scorecard printed on every 8.5" x 11" paper.

  6. Go to the "Header and Footer" tab and select "Add Text or Field".

  7. Using the available text editor, enter your social distancing guidelines or other important information. The sequence below shows the process of adding social distancing guidelines to the left side of the scorecard.

The sequence below shows the process of adding contact information to the right side of the scorecard.

  8. Complete the formatting of your scorecard. For full instructions on creating a scorecard, Click Here.

After saving the scorecard template, it can then be printed for your event or daily play (if printing blank scorecards). Below is an example of a scorecard with guidelines and contact information.

If using a blank scorecard for daily play, you can also allow your players to print it from a portal. Click Here for instructions.
