This feature is available for the following products:
The Apps menu allows you to access the following your your events/leagues:
Portal access and management
Mobile App Customization
Golf Hub
Event/League Portal:
Member Portal Address:
This link will direct your players to the portal. Keep in mind that they will not be able to view private pages (if any) on the portal. If you'd like them to view private pages, we suggest sending them the GGID Links.
Register Golfers to Use the Portal:
When clicking on this, all the players (with emails) on the roster will get an invitation to join the portal. This is not a mandatory step. Players can still be placed in the pairings and scored without being registered to the portal. For events, registering players to the portal is almost never necessary. For leagues, it may be. The benefit of registering a player to the portal is to allow them to register for weekly rounds online through the portal. They can also post on the message board on the portal (League/Event Talk). For more information on registering players to the portal, Click Here.
Send GGID to Golfers:
By clicking on this, the players (with emails) will receive the GGID for the event or league. If the portal is private, players will be required to enter the league/event GGID when visiting the portal. After doing so, they can view all the pages in the portal. If the portal has all public pages, then there is no need to send an event/league GGID. To better understand GGIDs, Click Here.
Set Flash Message:
By clicking on this button, you are able to create a short message that will be shown on the portal. Once your members sign in, they will see this message. It will also appear on every page they access. For example, you may wish to update them on a rain delay status at the course, or flash a reminder of a meeting being held immediately after their round. This feature is another great way to communicate important messages to your golfers. This message will show as a "ticker tape" banner moving across the top of each page. Keeping the message short will work well. They will see the pertinent information quickly and easily.
Remove Flash Message:
You use this button to remove flash messages that you no longer wish to display. If the text is grayed out, then there has been no Flash Message set.
Mobile App Customization:
Color and Logo:
If your players are using the mobile app, you can customize the app by changing the color scheme and adding a logo. For more information on customizing the mobile app, Click Here.
Mobile Pages:
Mobile pages will pop up in between holes while players enter scores on the mobile app. When a player enters scores on the mobile app for hole #3 and saves, a mobile page may pop up before the player is directed to hole #4. Different mobile pages can be used throughout the round. For more details on setting up mobile pages, Click Here.

You can further customize the Golf Genius Mobile App by adding banners. These banners will be displayed in the score entry area of the mobile app. The collage editor allows you to fully customize all your banners. For more information, Click Here.
