How can I set up a scramble using fivesomes or sixsomes?

Updated over 4 months ago

Q: How can I create a scramble with five person or six person teams?

A: Follow the steps below:

  1. Create your pairings using fivesomes or sixsomes. Click Here for instructions.

  2. Go to Rounds > Tournaments > Add New Tournament.

  3. Select Stroke Play, Foursome v Field (even though you are not playing in foursomes), Scramble, and one of the Handicap options (as shown below).

  4. Save the tournament.

If selecting the "20%+15%+10%+5%" Handicap option:

  • For fivesomes, we will use 15% of the A player, 15% of the B player, 10% of the C player, 5% of the D player, and 5% of the E player.

  • For sixsomes, we will use 15% of the A player, 10% of the B player, 10% of the C player, 10% of the D player, 5% of the E player, and 5% of the F player.

If selecting the "25%+20%+15%+10% (USGA)" Handicap option:

  • For fivesomes, we will use 20% of the A player, 18% of the B player, 15% of the C player, 10% of the D player, and 7% of the E player.

  • For sixsomes, we will use 18% of the A player, 15% of the B player, 12% of the C player, 10% of the D player, 8% of the E player, and 7% of the F player.
