This feature is available for the following products:

Purse management and payout features are an essential part of Golf Genius, allowing for flexible and customizable tournament configurations.

Purse distributions in Golf Genius are heavily dependent on settings like event configurations, leaderboard visibility options, and scoring finalization. Ensuring these are correctly configured can solve most display and payout issues.

If purse amounts are not displaying correctly, there are several troubleshooting steps to consider:

  1. Verify Round Status: Confirm the round is marked as 'Complete' in tournament settings.

  2. Visibility Settings: Ensure the 'Show Points and Purse' option is enabled.

  3. Rescoring: If configurations are updated, force a recalculation or rescore the tournament.

  4. Special Scenarios: Consider round-specific or team-based payout configurations that may require additional setup.

Q: How can I hide the purse for my multi-round tournament?

A: Oftentimes managers will choose to hide the points and purse from the leaderboard until they deem it appropriate to show. You can do this by going to Rounds > Display Leaderboard and clicking "Hide Purse and Point" (as shown below).

Step-by-Step Checklist for Troubleshooting Purse Issues

  1. Verify that all scores are entered, and rounds are marked as 'Complete.'

  2. Confirm the purse is correctly assigned to flights or payout tables.

  3. Adjust leaderboard visibility to 'Show Points and Purse.'

  4. Force recalculation or rescore the tournament if configurations have changed.

  5. Use the leaderboard settings to hide purse details in multi-round tournaments until finalized.
