Golf Genius and Golfshot have partnered to create a powerful integration that allows you to enter scores in the Golfshot app, which then flows directly to the tournament managed in Golf Genius. This collaboration streamlines the tournament scoring experience, making it easier for you to utilize the advanced features of Golfshot while your scores automatically update on the Golf Genius leaderboards. Downloading the Mobile App:
We highly suggest that you download the Golfshot app onto your phone before the day of the round. If have the Golfshot app downloaded before the round date, you will not be scrambling to download the app right before the event starts.
To download the app, you can either search for "Golfshot" in your app store or click the link in the article below:

Signing into the Golfshot App:
After downloading the app, create an account or sign in with your credentials (as shown below).
Using the Golfshot App with GGID:
To start your round with your Foursome GGID, follow these directions:
Click "Start Round."
Select the appropriate course.
Click "GGID" in the upper right-hand corner.
Enter the provided GGID Number from your tournament director.
If your name is not recognized as part of the Golf Genius pairing group, you will be asked to select a player from the pairing group. Note: If your name is not in the pairing group, talk to your tournament director as they may have given you the wrong GGID (as shown below).
Review your pairing group and event settings. Click "Start Round" to start scoring the round.
Select your starting hole.
Play your first hole and click "Score" in the lower right-hand corner to enter results. Note: If you have automatic score tracking enabled, your score will be entered for you.
Select a player to enter scores.
Enter the results for the hole. Note: You will only be able to enter scores and putts for other players in your group.
After entering results for all the players, click "Next" in the lower right-hand corner to move to the next hole.
Repeat steps 7-10 for the remaining holes.
After all scores have been entered, click "Save Round" to finish entering scores.
After saving the round, you can rate the app and view the final scorecard, live leaderboard, and take other actions. Click "Finish" to exit the round.
Viewing Dots for Handicap Holes:
For net events, there are a few places you will be able to see the dots a player will receive on a hole:
After you enter scores for a player.
When viewing the scorecard. Details about viewing the scorecard can be found later in this article.
Viewing the Leaderboard:
As scores are being entered, you can view the live leaderboard for all the tournaments set up within that round.
If you would like to view the leaderboard for the event, you can find it from several locations:
From the GPS page, click the trophy icon.
From the Menu page, select "View Leaderboard."
Viewing the Scorecard:
If you would like to view the scorecard for the event, you can find it in the menu, when selecting "View Scorecard":
