Introduction
Connecting your Shopify store to TrackBee is the first step toward better e-commerce tracking. This guide walks you through the process step by step, so you'll be up and running in no time.
1. Navigate to the Stores Page:
Access the TrackBee dashboard.
Go to the "Stores" page.
2. Name Your Store:
Enter your Shopify store's name as you want it to appear within TrackBee.
Note: You can change this name at a later time if needed.
3. Install the TrackBee App:
First, copy your store's unique API key.
Next, click on the provided installation link.
An on-screen installation guide will be presented to assist you through the process.
Follow the steps to install the TrackBee app on your Shopify store.
4. Enter your API Key in Shopify:
Access the TrackBee app within your Shopify dashboard.
Paste the API key you copied in the previous step.
Once this is done, you're ready to go to the next step.
6. Enable App Embed:
After clicking 'connect' you will be shown the option to open the App Embed settings by clicking on 'Enable app embed'.
Here you can enable the toggle.
If not you're not automatically redirected to the App Embed settings, please follow the subsequent steps:
In your Shopify dashboard, go to "Online Store".
On the left side bar, click on "Themes".
Here, select "Edit theme".
In the top left corner, click on the 'App embeds' icon.
This will show you the toggle for the app embed:
7. Validate the Connection:
Return to the TrackBee dashboard.
Tick the box to verify you have the app embed enabled.
After this, verify if you have set your Shopify Pixel Settings for TrackBee to 'Always on'. You can find more information on how to do that here.
Once this is done, also tick the box to for the Shopify data sharing settings.
Click on 'Next' to finish your setup.
8. Check for Duplicate Tracking:
For the last step, make sure to remove any extra tracking that could be sending data to your store.
If you're check comes back green, click on 'Finish'.
Completion:
Congratulations! Your Shopify store has been connected to TrackBee!
