Click logs

Click Logs capture every instance a user clicks on your campaign link. This log is essential for tracking traffic sources, analyzing partner performance, and identifying potential click fraud or anomalies.

Reporting Options

  • Click ID: A unique identifier assigned to each recorded click.

  • Click IP: The IP address from which the click originated.

  • GEO: Geographic location based on the user’s IP.

  • Operating System: The user’s device operating system at the time of the click.

  • User Agent: An HTTP header providing detailed information about the device, browser, and OS used during the click. This helps detect bots, understand user environments, and ensure proper rendering.

  • Cost: The monetary cost incurred per click.

  • Partner Click ID: Identifier passed by the partner network for easier reconciliation.

  • Param 1 & Param 2: Custom parameters for capturing campaign-specific data.

  • Created: Timestamp capturing when the click was logged.

Filters Available

You can filter Click Logs by Agency, Partner, Geo, Click ID, Link Template Name, Custom Link Name, and Campaign to narrow the dataset for deeper traffic analysis.

Note:

  • You can choose to select the date of your choice for which you want to fetch the results.

  • You can download and filter the results as well by clicking on options at the top right corner.

Impression Logs

Impression logs record whenever an ad is displayed to a user. They are crucial for validating ad delivery, measuring ad visibility, and identifying potential impression discrepancies or fraud.

Reporting Options:

  • ID: Unique identifier for each impression.

  • Param 1 & Param 2: Custom tracking fields used to capture extra campaign-specific details.

  • Impression IP: The IP address of the user who received the ad.

  • GEO: Geographic location based on IP.

  • Created: Timestamp noting when the impression was recorded.

  • Operating System: Details of the OS on the user’s device.

  • User Agent: Captures device, browser, and OS details — helpful for verifying if impressions were served to real users or bots.

  • Cost: Cost incurred per impression.

Filters Available:

Filters include Agency, Partner, Geo, Impression ID, and Campaign, helping you locate specific impressions related to certain partners or campaigns.

Event Logs

Event logs track in-app actions performed by users, such as registrations, purchases, or other SDK-triggered custom events. These logs help advertisers measure engagement, attribute user behaviour, and optimize campaigns based on in-app activity.

Reporting Options:

  • ID: Unique event log identifier.

  • Channel: Indicates the source or media channel that generated the event.

  • Event: Name of the in-app event (e.g., signup, purchase).

  • Event ID: Identifier for the specific event.

  • SDK Param 1: Custom parameter sent via SDK.

  • Event Value: Numerical or textual value associated with the event (like revenue amount).

  • Event Time: The exact timestamp when the event occurred.

  • Ad / Ad Set / Site ID: Details about the ad campaign components for granular attribution.

  • Created: Log generation time for the event.

Filters Available:

Use New User Data and AND Condition toggles alongside filters like Agency, Partner, Geo, Event Name, In-App Event Log ID, Customer Details (User ID, Email, Phone), Install ID, Click ID, Link Template Name, Custom Link Name, Campaign, SDK Types, and Status to refine event data.

Install Logs

Install logs track when a user successfully installs your app. These logs are vital for measuring user acquisition, calculating costs, and confirming accurate partner attribution.

Reporting Options:

  • IP: The IP address recorded at the time of installation.

  • Campaign ID: Unique ID of the campaign leading to the install.

  • GEO: Geographical location of the user at install time.

  • City: City-level granularity of the install location.

  • Install Time: Timestamp indicating when the install was completed.

  • Cost: Monetary value of the install, used for billing or ROI calculations.

  • Click Param 1: Custom parameter traced back from the original click.

  • Campaign: Name or ID of the campaign that drove the install.

Filters Available:

Available filters include Agency, Partner, Geo, Install ID, GAID (Google Advertising ID), Click ID, Link Template Name, Custom Link Name, Campaign, and Status to analyze install patterns.

Postback Logs

Postback Logs capture server-to-server notifications sent from Apptrove to your partners when a conversion or in-app event is triggered. These logs ensure accountability and help verify if your partner networks received the conversion data.

Reporting Options:

  • Postback ID: Unique identifier for the postback.

  • Type: Classifies the postback as an Install or Event.

  • Event/Install Log ID: Links the postback to the original event or install that triggered it.

  • URL: The destination URL where the postback was sent.

  • Date: Timestamp when the postback was fired.

  • Response Status Code: HTTP response code (e.g., 200 OK) indicating successful delivery or failure.

  • Event: The specific event that led to the postback.

Filters Available:

Filters include Partner, Postback Log ID, Type, and Install/Event Log ID for precise retrieval and troubleshooting.

Uninstall Logs

Uninstall logs capture when a user removes your app from their device. This data is crucial for analyzing churn, understanding user retention, and shaping re-engagement strategies.

  • ID: Unique identifier for the uninstall event.

  • Partner: Partner associated with the install and uninstall.

  • IP: The IP address captured during the uninstall action.

  • GEO: Geographic location of the uninstall event.

  • City: City-level details on where the uninstall occurred.

  • Cost: Cost associated with the uninstall event, if applicable.

  • SDK Param 1: Additional SDK parameter data.

  • Click Param 1: Parameter traced from the initial click.

  • Uninstall Time: Timestamp recording when the uninstall took place.

Filters Available:

Filters include Agency, Partner, Geo, Uninstall ID, Install ID, Click ID, and Campaign to focus on churn events from specific segments.
