This guide covers installing Tradecopia's desktop Pro plan on Windows or macOS. If you are on Pro+ Lite or Pro+, no installation is required — log in to your account at tradecopia.com to access your cloud environment.

You're reinstalling Tradecopia after a system change or hardware upgrade

Before you install
Check that your machine meets the system requirements before installing. See What are the system requirements for Tradecopia desktop? for hardware, OS, and network specifications.
You will also need an active Tradecopia account. If you haven't registered yet, create your account at tradecopia.com before proceeding.
Step 1 — Download the installer
Option 1 — Tradecopia portal (recommended)
Log in to your account at tradecopia.com and download the installer from your account dashboard. This ensures you always get the version associated with your account.
Option 2 — GitHub direct download
Download the latest release directly from GitHub:

If you are unsure which Windows installer to use, x86 (64-bit) is correct for the majority of Windows machines.
Step 2 — Install
Windows:
1. Run the downloaded .exe installer
2. When prompted, install as Administrator to ensure Tradecopia can write the files it needs
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation
macOS:
1. Open the downloaded .dmg file
2. Drag the Tradecopia application into your Applications folder
3. Launch Tradecopia from Applications
Step 3 — Log in and launch
Open the Tradecopia application and log in with your Tradecopia account credentials. After login you will land on the main dashboard.

Updating to a newer version
You do not need to uninstall before updating. To update:
Close the current Tradecopia application
Download the latest installer using the links above or from your portal
Run the installer and follow the prompts
Launch and log in as normal — your settings and configuration are preserved
