To place a fractional share order, please follow these steps:
Search your desired ticker symbol and select a direction (Buy or Sell).
In the order placement page, enter either a share quantity (as little as 0.0001) or a dollar amount (minimum $1) to place your order.
Fractional shares can be traded during traditional market hours (weekdays, 9:30AM to 4:00PM ET), pre-market hours (4:00AM to 9:30AM ET), and post-market hours (4:00PM to 7:30PM ET).
