Exporting trade data from Alpha Ticks into a file

  • Log in to your Alpha Futures Alpha Ticks account.

  • Navigate to the “Trades” tab.

  • Click the “EXPORT” button in the bottom right corner of the Trades tab.

  • Select the date range of the trades you want to export and click "Export."

  • Save the exported file in CSV format to your desktop.

Tip: If the file appears empty after exporting, try selecting a wider date range — for example, starting from the day before your first trade and ending a few days after the most recent one.

Uploading the exported file into TradeZella

1. Visit the TradeZella Add Trade page or click the “Add Trade” button from the sidebar.

⚠️ Note: If you’re importing into a new account, click “Add New Account”.

  • Choose Alpha Futures - Alpha Ticks as your broker.

  • Click Continue.

2. If you’re importing into an existing account, click the " Add Trades / "+ button on the relevant account.

3. Select File Upload as the import method and click Continue.

4. Choose the correct timezone for your data.

5. Upload the CSV file you just saved. The system will take it from there!

Common Errors

  • File Format: Ensure you export the file from the “Trades” tab. Files from other tabs may not be compatible with TradeZella’s importer.

  • Empty File: If the upload fails or shows no trades, double-check that the file contains data and isn’t blank.

Importing your trades from Alpha Futures into TradeZella is quick and simple when following the steps above. Keep your journal accurate and gain insights to help you grow as a trader.
