With Percentage View, TradeZella shows your P&L as a percentage of your starting balance instead of raw dollar amounts. This makes it easier to compare performance across days, weeks, and months, regardless of account size.

How Percentage Is Calculated

Daily P&L %: Based on the starting balance of that specific day.

(P&L for the Day) ÷ Starting Balance of the Day × 100

Weekly P&L %: Based on the starting balance of the first day of the week.

(P&L for the Week) ÷ Balance on First Day × 100

Monthly P&L %: Based on the starting balance of the first trading day of the month.

(P&L for the Month) ÷ Balance on First Day × 100

Example:

  • Starting balance on March 1: $6,000 → Ending balance: $6,600 → +10%

  • Starting balance on Monday: $6,500 → Ending balance Friday: $7,150 → +10%

  • Starting balance on March 1: $7,000 → Ending balance March 31: $8,400 → +20%

How to Switch to Percentage View

  1. Go to your Dashboard

  2. Look for the View Toggle option at the top bar.

  3. Switch from Dollar View ($) to Percentage View (%).

Once enabled, your P&L in the dashboard will automatically reflect percentages instead of dollar values.

Important Note

For the Percentage View to work, you need to have an initial balance set on your account.

✅ That’s it! You now know how Percentage View works, how it’s calculated, how to switch it on, and the setup required to make sure it works correctly.
