To seamlessly import your trades from Capital.com into TradeZella, follow the steps below.
Steps for downloading data from Capital.com:
Log in to your Capital.com account.
Click on the “Reports” tab from the left sidebar.
Go to the “Trades” tab.
Ensure all statuses are selected in the dropdown at the top.
Choose your desired date range (we recommend selecting the full range to include all trades).
Click the “Send report” button.
A CSV report will be sent to your email inbox — download this file.
Uploading the exported file into TradeZella
Visit the TradeZella Add Trade page or click the “Add Trade” button from the sidebar.
If you’re importing into a new account, click “Add New Account”.
Choose Capital.com as your broker.
Click Continue.
Select File Upload and click Continue
Upload your CSV file
If you’re uploading to an existing account, click the “+ Add Trades” button on the account → Select File Upload → Proceed as above.
Common Errors
Make sure you export the file from the Trades tab in the Reports section.
Sample File: If your file still fails to upload, please ensure it matches the sample Captial.com export shown below. If it doesn’t, you may have missed an export step or selected the wrong file format.
