On this page, you can:
Take Notes
Jot down key observations and lessons learned for each trading day. You can also log future days, making it easier to review and improve over time.
View the Mini Calendar
The right sidebar features a mini calendar that visually represents your green (profit) and red (loss) days.
Exploring the Details
Expanding a Trading Day
Click the dropdown icon next to any trading day to expand its view. This reveals all trades opened and closed that day, sorted in chronological order.
Intraday Cumulative Net P&L Chart:
This chart tracks how your realized P&L changed throughout the day as you closed trades. For further details, check out this helpful article: Understanding the Daily Journal Intraday Cumulative Net P&L Graph.
💡 Pro Tip: You can expand this chart and hover over each point to see the corresponding trade.
Daily Stats:
Review your stats for the trading day, including:
Net P&L: Total realized P&L for the day, including commissions and fees
Total Trades: Number of trades taken during the day
Win Rate: The number of winning trades in a certain period expressed as a percentage
Winners: Number of winning trades
Losers: Number of losing trades
Volume: Total quantity traded, ex: bought two contracts and sold two contracts; volume= 4
Profit Factor: The profit factor is defined as the gross profit divided by the gross loss (including commissions) for the entire trading period
Commissions: The fee paid to the broker to execute trades
Gross P&L: The total realized profit or loss for the day, excluding commissions.
Write a Note:
Add notes or lessons learned during the trading day. These notes are saved and can be referred to at any time.
Zella Insights:
Click on the Zella Insights icon to see if there were any insights detected for the day. (This feature is still under development.)
Trade Details:
Within the expanded view, you’ll see detailed information for each trade. Customize your view by adding columns for additional data.
💡 Pro Tip: For example, add a column for tags you’ve applied to your trades or specific setup tags.
To adjust columns, click the settings icon at the top, select the columns you want, and save your preferences.
