Written by Team

To import your trade data from TradingView into TradeZella, you'll export a CSV file from TradingView and upload it to TradeZella. Here's how to do it.

Export Your Trade History from TradingView

Step 1: Log in to your TradingView account and open any chart.

Step 2: At the bottom of the screen, click on Paper Trading (or Live Trading if you're using a live account).

Step 3: Click on the Order History tab.

Step 4: Click the Column setup icon in the top-right corner of the Order History table.

Check all the boxes: Side, Type, Quantity, Limit price, Stop price, Fill price, Status, Commission, Placing time, Closing time, Order ID, Level ID, Leverage, and Margin.

Step 5: Click the Download data icon (top-right corner of the table). In the dialog that appears, select Order history from the dropdown, then click Download.

A CSV file will automatically be downloaded.

Uploading the exported file to TradeZella

Now that your file has been exported into a CSV let's upload it to TradeZella!

  • Visit the TradeZella Add Trade page here or by clicking the “Add Trade” button on the sidebar.

  • On the Add Trade page, click “Add New Account” if you’re creating a new account for these trades.

If you’re uploading trades to an existing account, simply click on the “Add Trades” button in the account field:

  • On the Add New Account page, select TradingView as the broker and click Continue.

  • Next, select the File Upload method and click Continue again.

  • On the final step, select the timezone of the file and upload the file. The system will handle the rest.

  • If you’re using TradingView paper trading, select “Other” as the broker Company.

Common Errors

  • Select All Columns: If your file fails to upload, it may be due to incorrect headers. Ensure that when exporting your trade data into a file, you select all the columns.

  • Different Date/Time Format: Ensure you select the correct date format when uploading your trade file. Using the wrong date format will result in a failed upload. TradeZella supports the following formats:
