To import trades from the Tradingview-Oanda account into Tradezella, follow the simple steps mentioned below:
Login to your TradingView account.
Open any chart.
At the bottom, click on "Oanda" or "Oanda Demo"
From there, Go to the Transaction History tab; on the right-hand side, there are three dots. Click on those three dots, which allow you to select the columns to export. Check all the boxes -FILL IN WHICH BOXES TO SELECT-
Scroll down to the bottom of the Transaction History tab to ensure that the entire trade history is included. This is an important step to capture all relevant data.
Note: While we do support importing trades from Oanda TradingView accounts, there can be some considerations that you should be aware of. When you export your trades from Oanda TradingView into a CSV file, there might be instances where not all of the trades are captured in the CSV file. This can result in an inaccurate grouping of trades and potentially affect your P&L when you upload the data into Tradezella. Note: This is a limitation on Tradingview-Oanda's side.
Click on the "Oanda" or "Oanda Demo" button for a dropdown menu to show up. From the dropdown menu, click on the "Export" button, and a popup will appear.
From the popup, Select "Transaction History" and then click "Export".
A CSV file will automatically be downloaded.
To import your Tradingview CSV file into TradeZella, follow these steps
Now that your file has been exported into a CSV, let's upload it into TradeZella!
Click the ''Add Trade'' button on the left panel in your TradeZella account.
Click on the ''File upload'' Tab.
Select the TradeZella Account you would like to import the CSV into.
Ensure that the selected Broker is Tradingview.
Ensure that you have selected the correct Date format.
Click ''upload'' and upload your file.
Your trades have now been uploaded. :)
