Tradovate users may notice discrepancies in their P&L statements when syncing or uploading files to TradeZella. These issues often stem from the way commissions and fees are handled. This guide will help you understand why these discrepancies occur and how to resolve them.

File Upload

If you uploaded your Tradovate file and noticed that your Net P&L is slightly different, it may be due to the CSV file not including commissions or fees. Tradovate currently does not reflect commission or fees in their CSV files, which means you will see your GROSS P&L in TradeZella.

How to Resolve:

Manual Entry:

  • You can add commissions and fees manually to each trade.

Set Default Commission and Fee Rules:

Sync Method

When syncing your Tradovate account, only commission and fees for same-day trade data will be imported. Tradovate does not provide commission and fee information for historical data. So, you may see discrepancies due to that.

How to Resolve:

Manual Entry for Older Trades:

  • Manually add commissions and fees to each older trade.
