Getting your MetaTrader(MT4/MT5) account synced with TradeZella is straightforward. Follow these steps to ensure seamless import of your trading data:

Step 1: Visit the Broker Sync Page:

  • Go to the TradeZella broker sync page. You can access it directly here.

  • Alternatively, you can navigate to the broker sync page by hovering over the sidebar, clicking the "Add Trade" button, and selecting "Broker Sync."

Step 2: Select Your Broker and Input Details:

  • On the broker sync page, click "Add New Broker.”

  • Choose "MetaTrader4" OR “MetaTrader5” from the list of available brokers.

  • Leave the start date option blank to import all records or specify a custom start date if needed.

  • Select the broker/company name associated with your MetaTrader(MT4/MT5) account.

  • Enter the server name provided by your broker/propfirm.

  • Input your MetaTrader(MT4/MT5) login — typically a 6 to 10-digit number.

  • Input your investor password. (If the investor password doesn’t work, you can also try using a regular password if applicable.)

  • Select the specific TradeZella account you wish to sync with your broker account. If you leave the option set to "Create New Account," TradeZella will automatically create a new account to import your synced data.

  • Click "Connect" and agree to the terms and conditions.

Step 3: Track Sync Status:

  • TradeZella will begin syncing your account. Monitor the sync progress on the broker sync page here.

Pro Tip: Use the account filter in the top right corner of TradeZella to switch between accounts effortlessly.

Important Notes:

  • Investor Password: This is usually created automatically by your Forex broker. You can find it in the MetaTrader platform under the "Mailbox" tab or in emails from your broker/propfirm.

  • Troubleshooting: If you encounter issues, ensure you're using the correct credentials and server name. Try connecting with both your regular and investor passwords. Use a different browser if problems persist.

    • For more information on the investor password, you can refer to external resources like this article.

By following these steps, you can successfully sync your MetaTrader(MT4/MT5) account and have your trades automatically imported into TradeZella.
