Obstacles

Sleeping Drivers

There are sleeping drivers in some cars. You can spot these drivers by ‘ZzZ’ bubbles above their cars. A sleeping driver must be wakened up before his car can be removed. To wake up a driver you must match one of the cars on adjacent tiles.

Wheel Clamps
Some cars appear on the board with wheel clamps of various levels. To remove such cars, clamps must be first removed. If a blocked car is in a match, it stays on board and loses one level of a clamp. Such matches work as normal otherwise – they wake up sleeping drivers, plant grass, remove snow, etc.

Traffic Signs – Turn Order
Traffic signs appear on tiles, but they’re not blockers, so cars and cones can stand on them. The signs are displayed over snow and grass.
Arrows on the signs determine turn order (up, down, left or right). Once a car moves onto one of the signs, it turns in the direction displayed by arrows.

Barriers
Barriers are special blockers that are at least 2-tile long. One tile is always a raising mechanism and the rest is the barrier itself. To raise the barrier, you need to match cars adjacent to the mechanism.

Smog
Smog appears on the board, blocking tiles. It’s dangerous, because it spreads to an adjacent tile, if not removed! To prevent the spread and remove smog, you must match cars on neighboring tiles.

Tarps
Tarps don’t block tiles but instead hover above them, hiding cars, their direction, and color. Tarps can appear on the board simultaneously with other blockers. Cars under tarps can’t be matched until tarps aren’t removed. To remove a tarp, you must match cars on tiles adjacent to it. Some tarps have colors and can be removed only by matching cars of the appropriate color.

Status changing fields
Some tiles on the board can make an effect on cars that move onto them. There are 2 types of these special tiles: one blocks cars, the other puts drivers to sleep. These tiles can appear under snow and grass. Cars that at the start of a level begin on these tiles are not affected. The tiles don’t affect on trains, trams, and ambulances. The tiles can’t be removed.

Antennas and Traffic Lights
Antennas and traffic lights appear on the board in an inactive state. To remove them, you must active each one of them by matching cars on tiles adjacent to them. Antennas, once activated, stay that way until removed. Traffic lights, on the other hand, change their status each time you match cars next to them.

Traffic Cones
Traffic Cones are placed on the board. Remove them, by matching the cars adjacent to them. Sometimes traffic cones stand on each other, creating stacks. If a stack consists of 3 traffic cones, the adjacent cars must be matched 3 times. Some traffic cones have colors and can be removed only by matching cars of an appropriate color.

Garbage Trucks
Garbage trucks appear on the board. They act like the ambulances, but you don’t have to unblock them all to finish a level. Garbage trucks are not a goal!

Colorful Elements
Elements of various colors appear on the board, but only in one color on any given level. To remove them, you need to match the cars of appropriate color adjacent to them. These are the elements and their colors:
Hydrant – red
Pine – green
Hay – yellow
Payphone – blue
Mailbox – purple
Garbage can – orange

Fountains & Silos
Fountains and Silos are obstacles that can be removed from the board by making a number of matches equal to the number of tiles they occupy. Each match fills these obstacles with water until they’re full and then removed from the board.

Snow Plow
This plow is quite handy! It removes snow from tiles that are on its path. Clear way for the snowplow, so it can help you get rid of the snow, as it rides towards the edge of the board where then disappears.
