Best Practices
If your phone case holds physical credit or debit cards, remove them before accepting payments to prevent accidentally reading your own card.
Do not hand your phone to the customer. Have the customer hold their card or payment device against your phone.
If needed, you can take the customer’s card and tap it against your phone yourself.
Keep the card or payment device in place until the app confirms it has been read.
Always look for the Approved message to confirm the payment was successful.
