How to set up the Payment Processing

✅ Setting Up Payment Processing in TRAINDOO 2.0 – Step by Step

Einrichtung

Activate Payment Processing

  1. Log in to the TRAINDOO Web App.

  2. Click on "Payment" in the left-hand menu.

  3. At the top left, click "Activate Payment Processing".

  4. Follow the prompts to start the setup process.

Connect Your Payment Provider (Stripe)

  1. You can either create a new Stripe account or connect an existing one.

  2. Click "Start Setup" to begin.

  3. You’ll be redirected to Stripe’s website.

  4. Fill in all required information.

  5. Once submitted, you’ll automatically return to TRAINDOO.

  6. Allow up to 5 minutes for the connection to be activated.

Enter Billing Information & Basic Settings

  1. Go back to the "Payment" section and click "Setup".

  2. Under "Provider Information", enter:

    • Business or personal name

    • Full address

  3. Under "Invoicing", provide:

    • Your billing currency (e.g., Euro)

    • Your tax rate (e.g., 19%) or enable the Small Business Regulation if it applies

  4. Under "Payment Methods", select the options you'd like to offer (e.g., SEPA, credit card).

    ⚠️ Make sure these payment methods are also activated in your Stripe account.

  5. (Optional) Under "Invoice Numbers", define your own format (e.g., RE-2025-001).

  6. Under "Email Templates", confirm each template – even if you don’t want to edit them, they must be confirmed for the system to recognize them.

  7. Customize Your "Landing Page" (Optional)

    You can personalize your landing page to create a more professional experience:

    • Adjust color codes to match your branding

    • Add a Calendly link to schedule calls with potential clients

Create and Manage Products

Create a Product

  1. Click "Create Product".

  2. Upload a cover image that will appear on your landing and product pages.

  3. Name your product (e.g., “3-Month Bodybuilding Coaching”).

  4. Add a product description.

  5. Add invoice text – this will appear on client invoices.

  6. Enable "Show product page".

  7. If you're bundling several products, also enable "Show landing page".

Define Product Pricing

You can offer two pricing models:

One-Time Payment

  1. Select "One-time payment"

  2. Example: €100 for a PDF training plan

  3. Disable app access if not required

Subscription / Recurring Payment

  1. Choose the interval (e.g., every 3 months)

  2. Set the amount per interval (e.g., €750)

  3. (Optional) Add a discount (enter a negative value, e.g., -100)

  4. Choose the subscription duration:

    1. Fixed term (e.g., 6 months)

    2. Ongoing with auto-renewal

    3. (Optional) Add a cancellation notice period, e.g., 7 days

Publish Your Product

  1. Click "Save" to publish the product.

  2. You can now access it via the product page or your landing page.

Create a Free Lead Product

  1. Create a free or low-cost product (e.g., a free workbook) to generate leads.

  2. Set it up as a regular product.

  3. This allows you to collect contact details from interested users – without a sales barrier.

Test the Purchase Process as a Client

  1. Create a low-cost product you can "buy" yourself.

  2. Open your landing page.

  3. Click "View" on the product.

  4. You’ll be redirected to the product page.

  5. Go through the purchase steps:

    • Create a customer account or log in

    • Choose a payment method

    • Accept terms & conditions and privacy policy

    • Click "Buy now"

Manage Purchases, Invoices & Subscriptions

In the "Invoices" section, you'll see:

  • Order date

  • Customer details

  • Product name

  • Payment status (e.g., processed, pending, failed)

If a payment fails (e.g., insufficient funds):

  1. You can cancel the invoice or retry the payment

  2. Open the invoice and click "Retry payment" or "Cancel invoice"

  3. If the client already paid manually (e.g., in cash), mark the invoice as paid manually

4. In the "Purchases" section, you can:

  • View subscription durations and payments

  • Extend subscriptions or cancel them immediately

5. In the "Statistics" section, you’ll find:

  • Total revenue

  • Number of active subscriptions

  • And more insights

Best Practice Tipps:

  1. Make sure the payment methods you activate in TRAINDOO are also enabled in Stripe

  2. Enable automatic payouts in Stripe to receive your earnings without delay
