Carriers can be permanently removed from a lane or temporarily deactivated and reactivated. Navigate to your Carrier Network tab and click on the overflow menu next to the carrier, then select “Remove Carrier or "Deactivate Carrier”:

Removing a carrier will delete them from your instance of the Shipper App; any existing carrier information will not be available if they are re-added later.

Deactivating a carrier will remove them from your Routing Guide and will prevent them from being available for any future shipments, but they'll still be listed in your network and their metrics will still be available in the Shipper App.

An Activate option will be available in the overflow menu for deactivated carriers, but reactivating a carrier will not automatically reinstate their contracted rates. Also, carriers will not be notified if they are deactivated or reactivated.

If a carrier is removed or deactivated while a shipment is already tendered to them, they will still be able to complete the shipment but can be manually removed if necessary.
