Layover provides compensation when the carrier has been dispatched and the day of the pickup or delivery has been changed by one or more days.
Eligibility:
Carrier was on time for pickup or delivery
Carrier followed all other applicable shipment policies & procedures as listed in the Ratecon
Delivery has been changed by one or more days.

Q: Who should I contact to request a layover?
A: Transfix carrier success team carriersuccess@transfix.io or your Transfix Carrier Manager
Q: How long does it take to process layover requests?
A: Transfix aims to action requests for layovers as quickly as possible by working with the shipper/receiver facility.
Q: What if the layover is multiple days?
A: Transfix will compensate layovers for each eligible day, per the policy and layover rate. Delivery to a crossdock facility will be considered for multi-day layovers.
