The Pre-billing File can be sent when:

  • Order is 'Finished' status

  • Billing status is "Null" or "Rejected"

  • There is a contact specified in the contacts masterdata

  • The Reroute Purchase Order function is de-activated

Charges may be changed at any time until the Ready for Billing status is reached or the Pre-billing file has been sent ( Pending costs are not taken into account in any of this logic )

Once sent, the Billing status is "Sent", at this point either the recipient of the email or a web user with Control Tower Role 'Accept/Reject Pre-bill' can set the status to Accept or Reject.

Accept/Reject Pre-bill can be assigned in the Control Tower Role
Once Accepted or Completed, then the system will automatically attempt to set the order to status Ready For Billing

Pre-Bill Process Flow

1) Order has status Finished

2) Right-click an order and Send Pre-Bill ( Billing section, see screenshot below )

3) Costs are frozen and Pre-bill is sent

3A ) Accepted → Costs are made unavailable and the order goes to Billing Approved status

3B ) Rejected → Costs are made available again and the order goes to Billing Rejected Status
