Alerts are based on events, when an event is triggered, a corresponding alert can be triggered as well. Events are actions that can happen throughout an order and every order has an order event history log:

Activating the events in your rights management makes them available in the configure my alerts section:

Making alerts available in the configure my alert section

There are 3 places where you can make alerts available by activating the events:

  • Admin Role ( Module events for admin related actions )

  • Masterdata Role ( Module events for Masterdata and settings related events)

  • Control Tower Role ( Module events for order-related events )

Alerts notify users in the Control tower by use of pop-ups, sounds, and number highlights in the alert tab. You can also choose to have alerts emailed to your email address

When alerts are generated, pop-ups shown.
This Alert will stay in unread status until consulted or manually marked as read.
To consult the Alert click on the Alert name. This will bring up the order details where you can navigate to the relevant section and action the incoming Alert if/when necessary.
By clicking on the Alerts button you will bring up the Alerts History Section. In this overview, you will be able to manage all your newly incoming Alerts as well as your historical ones.

The incoming Alerts will be sorted chronologically - the most recent alerts will be at the top. Unread alerts will always come first.

Using the page navigation at the bottom of the screen you can cycle through the pages and consult all historical data.
