When an order no longer needs to be collected/delivered, you can cancel the order by right-clicking the order and selecting Cancel Order in the order flow section

You can also cancel multiple orders at once by multi-selecting orders and right-clicking the selected orders
If an order has not yet been activated ( draft status ), then you can delete the order from the grid.

If you don't want users to be able to delete orders, you can deactivate this option in their Control tower role ( Module Rights section )
Canceling orders means setting the status to "Canceled". Canceled orders can be recognized by red milestones:

Cancellation Logic

If you cancel a Sales Order, this will also cancel its Material order(s).
If the linked Transport order only has the canceled Material order(s), then the Transport Order will be removed ( if Transport order is incomplete ) or canceled ( if Transport order was active )
If the linked Transport order has other active Material orders, then the transport order will not be canceled
If there are actuals on the Transport order, they will not be removed from the Transport order or the Sales order
If you cancel a Transport order, it will not cancel the Material order(s) currently on the order. It only cancels the Transport order while the Material order(s) become available again to be reassigned to a new Transport order

Canceling a Material order can be done on the Sales/Transport order form or in the Material order control tower grid. Select 1 or more Material orders and right-click to cancel

If a Material order is canceled on a Sales/Transport order, then all canceled stops will be removed from the order
Canceled orders can be put to Ready for Reporting and Ready for Billing to make sure they run through the necessary billing process flow
