When changes are made to a Transport Order, it can be useful to send the changes to the carrier currently assigned to the order. To do this, simply right-click the order and select "Send Transport Order changes"
If you don't see the Send TO Changes in the right-click order menu, you need to add the feature in your Control Tower Role. In the Module rights section, you can go to "Transport Orders" and activate the Send TO changes feature
1) After making changes to a Transport order, you can right-click the order line and select "Send Transport Order changes". This only works for orders that have been activated, if you make changes to a draft order, they will be included in the Carrier confirmation/assign emails
2) You will now see a window pop-up that allows you to add an email subject and body to the email that will be sent to the carrier
The email address entered will be the email address linked to the carrier in the email contact settings or the email address manually entered on the Order Form
β
With Confirmation: When this is activated the order will go to status "Changes Pending" and the email will include Accept/Reject buttons. Once the changes are accepted or rejected, the status will again change to its previous status or status "Changes rejected"
β
Filling out a subject and body is non-mandatory, if nothing is entered, the system will send the default email
3) If the changes are rejected, the order status will remain "Changes Rejected" but the order can be completed
If you want the status to change you can right-click the order and go to "Order flow", there you can cancel pending changes to make sure the order goes back to its correct status
