Grid configuration and how to save a view

In the control tower, all grids are configurable by using the icon consisting of three dots in the top left corner. It's possible to change and save the view for the different tabs.ย

Configure the preferred view

By pressing this icon, users get multiple options:

  • View Configs

  • Active Columns

  • Active Filters

  • Show/Hide quick filters

  • Number of results

  • Export to Excel

  • Batch Actions

1) View Config

View configuration allows you to Save/Load grid configurations and set them as default if required.ย

Setting a grid configuration as the default means this config will be loaded when you log into Control Tower.

2) Active Columns

In the active columns section, you can decide which columns you would like to use in the grid.

You can move columns by "grabbing" (click without letting go) the column header and dragging it to the desired place.

You can sort a column by clicking the header. The column is sorted if the arrow icon appears in the column header.

You can grab the side of the column header to make the column wider if required.

Right-clicking a header provides the possibility to hide a column.

2A) Save the preferred view

If the preferred view is generated, it's possible to save the view by navigating in the menu to View Config and Save Current View.

A pop-up will appear where you can enter a name for the view. After saving it will appear in the menu under View Config.ย
