Confirm orders by e-mail

When a transport order is allocated to the carrier, an automated e-mail is sent.

The e-mail will contain some information like the quantity, weight, volume, and LDM if the information is available.

By using the Reject or Accept button, you can reject or accept the allocated Transport Order.

If you don't answer within the timeframe as agreed upon with the Customer, it's possible the transport order will be allocated to another carrier, depending on the preferred settings. These settings can be configured in the Carrier Allocation settings table. When you open the attachment, you're able to see more relevant details concerning the origin and delivery location.

Confirm orders in the TOPS Control Tower

In the Transport Order grid, select the Transport Order (TO) by filtering on ( for example ) the TO-number, date, origin, or destination.

Right-click on the TO and navigate to Order Flow and chose to Confirm or Cancel. A pop-up will appear where you need to confirm your chosen option.

The status of the TO will change from "Pending Confirmation" to "Ready for Pick-up" when confirming the allocation or to the status "Incomplete" when rejecting the allocation.
