In every order form, you can select the options to Close the order form after saving or after activating. The checkboxes are located at the bottom of the order form.
Once the option is activated and the order saved with it, it will remain a default setting for all orders of this type until deactivated.
The option 'Close after activate' is especially good to have selected, if activation is the last required action on the order.
