Hi,
We are pleased to inform you that we have launched a new version of our TOPS Control Tower, 4.14
Control Tower 4.14:
New Batch ID logic on the MO
Standardized Reason Codes can be disabled
Improvement on the CT roles
Suppress carrier emails
VAT has been added to SO/TO grid
Automatic CMR email
Incoterm and Incoterm Location on TO
Support Groupage pricing
Configurable Alerts extended
Order Form settings extended
‘Manual Finish’ on SO
You can now include batch IDs on the material line of your MO and add a flag on the MO level when the batches are complete for that MO.
In addition, you can force the application that the MO cannot be planned on a TO when the flag is not set to true.
The batch ID field and flag is available both manually and via the API.
Don’t forget to enable this new setting via the MO settings and to update your CT Role to include the new fields and rights on your MO order form and grid.
As from now on you can disable the standardized reason codes in the masterdata.
We have improved the set-up of the CT Roles so that you can (un)select all roles within the same feature in one click. Make a right click on the feature to use this new option.
It is now possible to disable certain emails to be sent. Via the email settings you can configure if certain mail types should be excluded on certain order flows.
You can now include the VAT code and VAT% to your SO and TO grid. Don’t forget to enable these new fields via the CT Roles first.
We have made a few improvements on the upload of the CMR.
When the user uploads on the TO a CMR he will be asked to select for which MO he is uploading the CMR.
This new pop-up will only be displayed in case of multiple collection/delivery combinations.
In addition, the CMR will be uploaded on the MO and on the linked SO(s).
When your customers are working via the Customer Portal than the uploaded CMR will be available as well for them via the order details.
Last but not least you can trigger an automatic email to your customers when a CMR has been uploaded on the SO. The email will include the CMR as an attachment.
Don’t forget to configure the customer contacts that require the CMR email in the email contact settings.
The Incoterm and Incoterm locations can now be set on TO level. When the Incoterms are provided on the MO than we will copy the value to the TO in case the Incoterms match on all linked MOs.
Don’forget to enable these new fields and roles in your CT Role.
It is now possible to set up in the TO settings when the rate for the TO should be calculated based on the grouped MOs. If his feature is enabled then we will calculate for each unique collection/delivery combination on that TO the rate.
The rate calculation can be added to the TO grid so that you know how the rate has been calculated. Don’t forget to enable this new field in the CT Roles.
We have new configurable alerts that can be enabled in CT to remind for example your carrier when the actual milestones are missing or in case the license plates have not yet been filled in.
You can set up a first and second reminder via the configurable alerts settings and indicate if an incident should be reported..
All configurable alerts can be set up in the email contact settings. This will allow you to to trigger automatic reminders to your carrier for example when license plates, milestone updates or certain documents are missing.
We have extended the Order Form settings so that you can make the requestor fields, sales order reference, on the MO mandatory. In addition, you can now include the service level on the order form so that you can configure the order form based on the service level.
It is now possible to manually set the status of the SO to ‘Finished’. You can do this for a single SO or use the Batch action to set multiple orders to ‘Finished’ in one go.
Don’t forget to enable this right in your CT Role.
