The label feature allows you to make sure the carrier books a slot at the facility or section, based on the correct label (material type, vehicle type, or any other restriction you have) he will collect or deliver.

Create a label

To get started you first need to define them all in your label in the settings table.

You can create as many labels as you want.

Labels should be minimum of 3 characters long, without spaces, and can include letter, numbers, _ , - , : .

Labels can’t be deleted if they are used on an active booking (=an ongoing or future booking)

Link labels to the correct facility

Once you added all the labels, you can start to link each facility and each section to the correct label.

Go to the facility or section settings and select what can be (un)loaded.

Notes:

  • Creating a booking with 0 labels can be booked on all sections (regardless of the facility/section-label settings)

  • All bookings (regardless of the labels) can be booked on a section with 0 labels

Booking requirements

Make sure you have selected the labels in your booking requirements (see settings).

The topics you select on this page will be asked to you or your carrier when booking a slot.

You will see "labels" on two places in the booking requirements:

  • Goods & packaging > Labels

    • When booking a slot, and adding an item in the goods & packaging section, the user will be asked to add a label on every item he adds.

  • Other > Additional labels

    • When booking a slot, on the last page, the user will be asked to add additional labels. This label will not be attached to an item in the goods and packaging.

Book a slot and get the correct slot suggestions

Hooray, when all the above is correctly set up, you and your carrier will be able to select a label when booking a slot! Slot Suggestions will be calculated based on the selected label and the facility/section settings.
