In the Material Order settings, you will be able to configure and specify how your MO will look and behave.
Because you have different divisions to separate your data, you might also want to do this for your MO's. This is why you can divide your MO data per:
Division
Customer
Supplier
Service Level
Organization
Company Code
Order Type
Origin Region
Origin Location
Origin Country
Order Logic
We've put tooltips on almost every section. When you hover over it, you will see a small explanation of what every single option does.
If there is no tooltip or needs more explanation, you will find it below.
Criteria to allow Activation
Here you set the criteria to allow activation:
Packing date: A packing date needs to be present before the MO is allowed to activate. (through API)
Picking date: A picking date needs to be present before the MO is allowed to activate (through API)
Package identifiers: A package identifier needs to be present before the MO is allowed to activate. This can be set up within Control Tower
Schedule Calculation
Initial Delay: This value will be used if no Scheduled From/To times have been inserted for the arrival milestone on the first TO stop. Normally the Schedule would be then calculated to Time of Order Creation + Initial Delay (if any, otherwise it's just Time of Order Creation). So in the example above, if we would create an order at 13:45, the Arrive schedule of the first Collection stop would be 13:55. It is important to note that later on when the order is in transit, it will take that scheduled time based on the calculated route.
Transit Time: The scheduled times will be calculated based on the available scheduled collection/delivery time on the Material Order and the Transit Time value of the matching rate zone. For more info about this, click here.
Auto-Complete: Each time a Material Order is saved, the system will try to auto-complete one of the missing scheduled times using the setting provided by the user
Here you can add a time in minutes either TO or FROM collection and delivery.
Require cancel reason
If this boxed is checked, whenever an order is canceled, a reason for cancellation will be required.
This action requires reason codes, which can be found here.
