In this article, we'll be taking a closer look at what all the different statuses mean and what action triggers what status.
'Material Order Creation' to 'Ready For Pickup'
When you add a new MO, fill in all the information and save it, the order will appear in the MO grid view and will have the status 'Draft'
There are two exceptions to this depending on what MO settings you have. If you have selected either option in 'Criteria To Allow Draft', the order will go 'Incomplete'.
(Right-click on the image to get a better view)
If you check the option 'Use Approval Flow' The MO will go 'Incomplete (Pending Approval)'
The status will remain incomplete until the user has either approved or rejected the MO. (right-click on the order -> Order Flow)
When approved -> 'Draft Approved'
When rejected -> 'Incomplete (Rejected)'
If the MO is in either of the above statuses and you cancel the order, the status will go to 'Cancelled Before Activation'. It's possible that you have to provide a reason, depending on the MO settings.
'Ready for Pickup to Completed'
Activate the MO by right-clicking -> Activate Material Order. By doing this the status will change to 'Ready For Pickup'.
Extra info: read here to automate TO creation and activation by activating the MO.
If the MO is canceled with the status 'Ready For Pickup', it will get the status 'Canceled Before Collection'
When the driver is using GPS and enters the inner geofence, the status will automatically be updated to 'At Origin'
The carrier/driver picks up the shipment and updates the collection on the TO, the MO status will change to 'Collected'
From the moment the origin actual depart gets updated, the MO changes to
'In Transit'
'Onsite' status will be triggered when the arrival actual of the destination has been updated on the TO.
The delivery actual gets updated on the TO and this will update the MO to 'Delivered'
