General
Partner Portal is a module that allows for following use-cases:
If you are an LSP: Your customer can create their own orders and use track & trace and exchange documents.
If you are a Shipper:
As Customer Portal: Your customer can use the portal to track & trace and exchange documents. Your customer can also use the portal for a reverse logistics order call-off process.
As Supplier Portal: Your supplier can use the portal for the order call-off procedure. The order entry process is supported by Purchase Order validation.

You can configure Partner Portal via the Control Tower: Admin -> Partner Portal -> Partner Portal Settings.
New portals can be created from this table. You can create one or more portals within a Division. Example: if you ship under multiple brands, then each brand can get a dedicated branded portal.
In the general tab, you will find the URL of your portal, the division, environment (relevant when more than 1 portal per division) and group.
The group setting is relevant to support the portal user creation process. When a new user registers through the portal, you as a CT user will receive the account request here:
When clicking Approve in the account request window (shown above), the newly created user will be assigned to the specified group based on the group setting. Like this:
Homepage
In this tab, you can configure how your homepage (login/register page) will look.
You can enable the search bar so portal users can search for orders without login in.
The home page tag line and a welcome message will be displayed as followed:

Footer text + terms and conditions will be at the bottom left of the page.
Dashboard
Once a portal user is logged in, you can determine what they see:
Either the same homepage as users that are not logged in, but with a menu bar on the left.
Or, they are welcomed by the dashboard.
You can set up the dashboard on CT - Partner Portal Settings - Dashboard - Show recent orders:
You can customize what is shown on the dashboard. You can hover over the options for more information.

Theming Options
You can brand the portal with a color scheme for the sidebar and the buttons. You can also choose the color of the text and links to your liking.
In the theming options, you can also add your company logo.
